Welcome to the Hookin2Hockey. Hookin2Hockey gives children the opportunity to learn the basic skills of hockey, develop fundamental motor skills and make friends all while beginning their lifelong love of hockey! As the official program of Hockey Australia, this introductory program is aimed at primary school aged children and includes skill based games in a fun and safe environment.
As one of the oldest sporting clubs in Wangaratta, we are proud of the huge growth we have seen in the hockey club in 2023. So to celebrate we are having a fun day, bigger and better than last year. More details on what we have planned for the day to come.....
The Wangaratta Hockey Club is excited to offer an opportunity to have dinner with Rachael Lynch, Hockeyroos Goalkeeper, dual Olympian, Australia's most capped goalkeeper in history, Olympian for Life, and international Goal keeper of the year. For 11 years she has been working as a nurse including on the frontline during the pandemic. In addition, Rachael has been a RUOK Day ambassador for over 10 years and Lifeline community custodian. This is a great opportunity to hear the story of an inspiring hockey player and raise funds for lighting for the Wangaratta Hockey club field. Rachael will meet with junior players before the dinner, a two course meal starting at 7 to 10 pm. TICKETS AVAILABLE at https://www.trybooking.com/CHPCC
